I’ve got in touch with a contact who manufactures headphones and was in need of a new product design. I took on the request and ventured into the, then unknown, world of 3D Design. Although nothing came into fruition, I had expanded my skillset. Here are a few of my concepts:
Adobe Illustrator
CONCEPT 1:
Concept 1 was entirely on exploration of color and material on the overall look of the headphones. Along with that exploration of different logos and names for the headphones. Working in 2D heavily restricted my ability to convey my ideas.

Blender 3D
CONCEPT 2:
With the frustration of not being to draw accurate materials and rotate the concepts, I sought out a few tutorials and installed Blender. The concept looked promising, but I soon ran into issues of converting these shapes into real objects. Since 3D Modeling had no basis in reality, I was creating objects that had no real world measurements and thus had to be recreated in CAD.

Autodesk Fusion 360
CONCEPT 3:
With a ruler in hand and proper CAD software, I began once again sculpting out headphones using extrusions. During this process, I had narrowed down the look into over-the-ear wooden cups with a denim spine.
